I grew up in a tiny corner of small-town America, a place so quiet–that to this day it still doesn’t have a single red-light. My love for photography took root there, nurtured during my college days at Auburn University, where I worked for Village Photographers. 

This was back when cameras demanded your full attention—every setting dialed in by hand, every shot a leap of faith. There was no instant preview, no digital safety net. You poured your heart into the frame and waited days for the film to reveal what you’d captured. That slow, deliberate process taught me to see, to feel, to truly understand the alchemy of light and emotion that makes a photograph unforgettable. 

Photography isn’t just my craft; it’s my way of breathing life into fleeting moments. Whether it’s the ache of joy, the sting of sorrow, the awe of the majestic, or the weight of tragedy, my lens is my storyteller. I chase the raw, unfiltered pulse of life—the kind of emotion that hits you like a wave and lingers long after the shutter clicks.
